I am Terry Lynn Allen. I am an artist and have been an artist since as long as I can remember. My first mural was when I was 4 years old. I took my cigar box of crayons out behind the shed at the back of our property and scrawled such a beautiful mural as any 4 year old had ever seen.
The spanking I received in return never dampened my creative spirit. I just blossomed from that point and I knew in my heart that I had to color my world every chance I got.
Fast forward to 1990. I began my business painting storefront windows. After braving the Arizona summers in full sun for 15 years I began to think about painting murals. I had done a few and knew that I could do it! Eventually, I transitioned solely to murals and I have never looked back. However, I was grateful for the years I painted window splashes and window signage because it gave me the edge I needed when painting word murals and logos. It rounded things out nicely with the ability to think on my feet and create designs that my clients wanted.
I spend my extra time painting canvases and I love to decorate for parties, build sand sculptures while on vacation and paint pet portraits on rocks
